Fires in the City Third Time in February:
For the past weeks there has been three fires in the city of Bluefields, whereas to firefighting staff are in the dilemma of water shortages in all three time they was called upon outing these fires.
Last night fire in this city, was devastated and consumed four buildings near the Cathedral Church, thousands of dollars’ worth is losses by this fire. Between private homes and hold sales building was affected. Nevertheless, firefighting teams of this City was unable to control fire due to that water shortage in the Hydrants around those areas.
Brave and unified groups of locals assisted in a human chain to use balers and hand past to help the firefighters, as local firefighting team units was empty and made several trips back and forth to refill their units with water in other neighborhood of San Pedro.
This has been the third mayor fire that have occurred in the City of Bluefields in the First part of this year 2013, and the Major on this city have made complaints to central government about the shortages of water in all hydrants of the city whilst fires consume building and they are unable to out fires.
Fire started by an irresponsible person that start burning garbage’s in the back on these building that ignitiated the fire, been that a private house flammable and combustibles store in the open areas of the back of their yard.
Bluefields City need better units and accessories for fire fighters, something the regional government and local have been claiming and have made complaints to local major office. A complete restructuration of firefighting hydrants inspected, and fix before other fire emerges and difficulties will be present.
